Updates

Features

  • The Workspace has a new Project rules list under your files. Add, change or remove the decisions, conventions and checks Gain follows when it works on your project.
  • You can now create, rename, move and delete files and folders in the Workspace file list. Use the buttons above the list or right-click a file, and open a file to edit and save it.
  • The menu at the top of the site now scrolls when its links do not fit on the screen. Use the arrow buttons at either end, drag the links sideways, or scroll with your mouse wheel. On phones, the menu opens as a grid of buttons.

Ergänzungen

  • Consultancy has been added to the menu at the top of the site. It opens the Consultancy page, where you can read how an engagement works and get in touch.
  • A new Updates page has been added to the menu at the top of the site, where you can read what changed on each release day. To receive each update by email, turn on Product update emails on the Consents page of your dashboard.

Changes

  • The home page has received content updates that describe what Kinsugi offers companies with development teams.
  • The About page has received content updates that describe who we are and where Kinsugi sits in the market.
  • The Pricing page has been updated with new plans. Basic stays free, and Pro adds higher limits and unlimited relays for development teams. Larger organisations can agree an annual licence.
  • Gain on the website now answers up to eight questions a day for visitors and twenty for signed-in accounts. When you reach the limit, Gain tells you when you can ask again.
  • When Gain in the Workspace suggests an improvement to your project, it now names the coding practice behind it.

Bugfixes

  • When you open a page that needs an account and sign in, you now land on that page in place of the home page.
  • In the Workspace, when Gain pauses or stops a task on its own, the conversation now shows where the task ended, and you can continue from there.
