Consultancy
Move from growth strategy to a working solution.
A sound business case can still stall in a crowded delivery queue. We help leadership teams find the right opportunity, agree how to measure it and build a first solution with their people. Kinsugi brings commercial consulting, AI engineers and a platform built from reusable software modules into one practical route from decision to delivery.
Start by outlining a project with Gain. Consultancy and engineering work are scoped separately.
We do it for you. We do it with you. You do it for yourself.
The balance changes as your team gains time, confidence and ownership. We agree responsibilities, approvals and the handover at the start of each engagement.
We do it for you
We review the operating model, customer journey, data and delivery constraints. Together we choose a business problem worth solving, establish the baseline and make the commercial case. Where delivery support is needed, our consultants and AI engineers can help scope and build a controlled first pilot. Your leaders approve the objectives, data access and decisions that affect the business.
What you get: A prioritised opportunity, an agreed success measure, a delivery scope and evidence for a go, revise or stop decision.
We do it with you
Our team works alongside your commercial, product, engineering and risk owners. We connect the solution to your systems, apply your permissions and approval steps, and test it in the real workflow. Your people review the build, learn the method and help decide what is ready for wider use.
What you get: A shared delivery plan, documented decisions and checks, a measured result and a practical handover plan.
You do it for yourself
Your team leads the next use cases and extends what has been built. Kinsugi provides a way to define the work, reuse suitable modules and inspect checks as changes are made. We can remain available for specialist consulting or engineering support when you need it.
What you get: Clear ownership, reusable components and a team better able to improve the solution after launch.
Which growth or operating problem is worth solving first?
Start with one decision and an outcome you can measure. These examples are possible applications. Results depend on your customers, systems and economics.
Retail and commerce: Join product advice, availability, pricing rules and checkout to help customers make a confident choice. Test conversion, returns and service demand together.
Service onboarding: Guide people through required information, check completeness and send exceptions to the right person. Test time to completion and quality.
Complex operations: Connect requests across systems, reduce repeated entry and keep approvals with authorised staff. Test handling time, error rate and customer experience.
AI-assisted workflow: Give an assistant a defined job, approved information and a point at which it must stop and ask a person. Test the outcome, operating cost and oversight before rollout.
Agree the result before the build.
Find the opportunity
Review current performance, customer friction, costs and team constraints. Choose one problem with a named sponsor.
Define the test
Record a baseline, success measure, data and systems needed, approvals, responsible owners and the decision the pilot must inform.
Agree the scope
Set out consulting and engineering responsibilities, deliverables, timing, dependencies and a written fee proposal.
Pilot and decide
Build and assess the smallest useful solution. Scale, revise or stop based on commercial, technical and operating evidence.
Transfer ownership
Document the solution, review what the team can run or extend, and agree any ongoing support.
Built with controls your team can inspect.
Gain helps business and technical teams turn an objective into a project outline and keep track of decisions. KADE helps engineers assemble and adapt small, reusable software modules. Permissions, human approvals and defined checks are part of the work, so the team can see what was built and what still needs review. The right modules depend on the problem and your systems; integrations and the finished application need their own testing.
Automated checks
Kinsugi's build runs 87 defined automated checks against the underlying software and modules.
Kinsugi runs automated validators against defined rules for its software and the modules used in a build. Depending on the check, they can look for issues such as structure, permissions, documentation, compatibility or a broken test. A passing result means that specific rule passed at that point in the build. A failed result identifies work to fix before the relevant approval or release step.
Important limit
A validator count is the number of defined checks, not a quality score, a count of independent security audits, or proof that a finished solution is error-free. Human review, integration testing, security assessment and checks against your policies remain necessary.
See the approach in a live consumer setting.
Beasr.world is Kinsugi's consumer showcase for the home-moving journey. It gives us a place to work through connected customer needs, product information and the points where data, suppliers and people meet. It shows an approach in use. The value and fit for another organisation must be tested against its own customers, systems and economics.

Pricing on application, dependent on the scope of the project. We agree the work and fees in writing before an engagement begins. Scope can include an operating model review, a growth strategy and business case, a joint pilot, engineering delivery, or support as your team takes ownership. The proposal will set out deliverables, responsibilities, timing and any platform access needed.
A free Kinsugi account helps you scope a project with Gain. Consultancy, engineering delivery and pilots are scoped and priced separately. Product plans and business evaluations are explained on our Pricing page.
